Yeah, we don’t like complicated legal documents either. But we have to display this notice to comply with Google And Facebook policies on advertising.

Basically what we need to tell you is the following:

• If you leave a comment on this website – we may use your IP address to make sure you’re a real human and not some automated computer program trying to leave rude comments on the website.

• If you’ve ever uploaded your profile picture to other websites where you’ve left a comment, then we won’t display it until we’re convinced that you’re human and not a naughty computer program.

• If you decide to upload your image to this website when you leave a comment then just be aware that your phone might have used software to keep track of your location when you took that beautiful photo of your big smiling face. And it might have stored that information in the photo. If it did you would probably know it because you would have turned on that feature on your phone. And if it did then you should probably think about removing it before you upload it here (or anywhere for that matter) and leave a comment. If you don’t then other people (or naughty computer programs) who visit this website might be able to tell where the photo was taken. Of course, if you’re not planning on leaving a comment on this website, or uploading a picture then it won’t matter.

• Also, if you do leave a comment on this website the only information we will store about you (and only if you want us to) is information that will make it easier for you leave a comment next time. If you don’t want to leave a comment on this website then, again, you don’t have to worry.

• However, if you do leave a comment, then the comment might be on this website for a very long time. Of course, you could always come back and delete it if you don’t want it to be there.

• The only other information we might store about you is if you create an account on this site. This option is given to you when you buy our delicious pies and then checkout – so we have your address. The only reason we store this information is so you don’t have to fill in your address every time you order something – because that’s just tedious, isn’t it? Instead, your address will appear all by itself, as if by magic.

• Also, if you do create an account on this site then you won’t have to log in again if you visit the site within two weeks because we’ll tell your web browser to magically remember who you are when you visit us again.

• You also need to know there is some content on this website from other sites like Facebook – and Facebook might store information about you. For example, if you click the Facebook like button, they will store the fact that you clicked on it – but only if you are logged in to Facebook when you click on it.

• Finally, if you place an order on this site we will store the information about your order. This is so we know what you ordered and where to sent it to – if we didn’t do that it would make our lives very difficult. 

In a nutshell – we only store information about you to help you access our site easier and to help us deliver your order to you. And Facebook only stores the fact you clicked on the like button. Now go and order some pies already!

 

Refund Policy

If you are unhappy with the quality of our pies for any reason then flick us a message. We’re a reasonable bunch! We’ll either give you a refund or replace the pies at no cost to you!
